Gyeongbokgung is one of the five largest palaces of the Joseon Dynasty, built in 1395. This is an indispensable tourist destination if you have the opportunity to visit the capital Seoul of Korea, whether you are on a tour or having a self-guide travel. The night tour at Gyeongbokgung is opened every year in the spring from early May to early June, and in the fall from late September to late October. During that time, Gyeongbokgung will be divided into 2 shifts in a day: morning tour and night tour, the morning tour starts from 9am to 6pm, and the night tour starts from 7pm to 9:30pm.

In Fall 2024, Gyeongbokgung Palace Nighttime will be held from 11th September to 27th October, you can take a walk in this magnaficient palace between 19:00 and 21:30, last entrance will be 20:30.

The entrance fee for the night tour is 3,000 won and usually requires advance booking, however, for foreign visitors, you just need to bring your passport to the ticket counter to buy tickets at the palace without having to book in advance. However, Gyeongbokgung only limits tickets to 300 foreigners (2 per person) each day, so don't forget to take advantage of the time to come to the palace early to buy tickets!
