One of the things that impressed me the most after moving to Korea is how convenient food delivery is.
Whether you're craving fried chicken, Korean food, Chinese food, coffee, or even dessert, you can have it delivered almost anywhere with just a few taps on your phone.
What surprised me even more is that people don't only order food to their homes. It's completely normal to have food delivered to parks, the Han River, university campuses, or even outdoor picnic spots. On weekends, it's common to see delivery riders bringing hot meals to people enjoying time by the river.
Of course, delivery fees have become a little more expensive over the years, but after a long day, having a warm meal arrive at your door still feels worth it.
I used to cook most of my meals, but after living in Korea, I finally understand why delivery apps are such an important part of everyday life here 😂🇰🇷
