If you’re in Seoul during spring, you’ll notice the city slowly turning colorful—and tulips are a big part of that vibe. While Seoul doesn’t have just one single “official” tulip festival, there are several spots where you can enjoy beautiful tulip displays.

Tulips usually bloom from early to mid-April, and depending on the weather, they can last into early May. You’ll see a mix of bright colors like red, yellow, pink, and purple, which makes it a really nice alternative (or addition) to cherry blossom season.

Some popular places to check out:

  • Everland – probably the most famous tulip festival in Korea, with large-scale displays and a more “event” feeling
  • Seoul Forest – a more relaxed, local spot that’s great for walking and casual photos
  • Olympic Park – spacious and perfect if you want to picnic while enjoying flowers

If you’re planning to go, weekdays are definitely better than weekends, and going earlier in the day or around sunset gives you nicer lighting and fewer crowds.

Overall, if you’re in Seoul during spring and want something a little less hectic but still very seasonal, tulip spots are a really good option.
