There’s something special about traveling during spring. In Seoul, it feels like the city is quietly waking up after winter.

One afternoon, I found myself sitting near a small street not far from Bukchon Hanok Village, watching petals fall as people passed by. Moments like that don’t feel planned—they just happen when you give yourself time to wander.

Getting around was surprisingly easy, mostly because I had a local SIM from Chingu Mobile. It wasn’t expensive, and having constant access to maps and translation apps gave me the freedom to explore without worrying about getting lost.

I ended that day with a simple meal—grilled meat at a small restaurant serving Korean BBQ, followed by a warm bowl of Kimchi Jjigae. Nothing fancy, just good food and a quiet evening.

Traveling in Korea during spring isn’t just about seeing famous places—it’s about these small, peaceful moments in between. And honestly, that’s what made the experience unforgettable.

This is such a beautifully written reflection. You really captured that specific "Seoul in Spring" magic—where the city feels both ancient and alive at the same time. There’s something so grounding about the contrast between the historic wooden eaves of Bukchon and the delicate, fleeting cherry blossoms.
