Waiting for Cherry Blossoms in Korea

After spending a week traveling around South Korea, I’ve really started to enjoy the relaxed rhythm of daily life here. Exploring local food, markets, and neighborhoods has been a great experience. Now I’m especially excited for the upcoming cherry blossom season. I’m hoping to see the streets and parks filled with soft pink flowers, which I’ve heard make spring in Korea even more magical.

    It is so cool that you are catching the transition from winter to spring. Seeing the city finally start to bloom after a week of exploring is the best feeling.

    Since it is already April 2nd, you are perfectly timed. The blossoms in Seoul are expected to start popping tomorrow and should hit their peak around April 10th. For the best views, definitely check out Yeouido or Seokchon Lake.

    A quick tip to make your life easier is to grab a Chingu Mobile Korea SIM card. It is much cheaper than the airport ones and the data is super fast, which is a lifesaver when you are trying to find those hidden blossom spots or checking live weather updates.
