Lately in Korea, it honestly feels like the whole country is covered in green powder lol. 🍵
From cafés to convenience stores, everyone seems to be in their “matcha era,” and the trend is getting stronger every month.

It started with a few cafés launching seasonal matcha menus, but now it’s full-on matcha fever. You can find matcha latte, matcha ice cream, matcha tiramisu, matcha cream bread, and even matcha noodles (yes… that happened). Some places even compete over who can make the “deepest” or “darkest-green” matcha flavor — people literally compare matcha levels like gamers comparing stats 😂

A lot of new “matcha specialty cafés” also popped up, and they’re always packed. People take photos of the color first because “the greener the better.” Plus, brands are dropping limited-edition matcha goods and collab menus, so everyone’s running around trying them before they sell out.

If you’re in Korea right now and you like matcha even a little bit, you’re basically living in paradise. If you don’t like matcha… good luck escaping it because it’s everywhere lol.
