Boryeong Mud Festival (보령머드축제) is one of the most exciting summer festivals in Korea that I’ve ever joined! This year, it takes place from July 19 to 28 at Daecheon Beach in Boryeong city. My friends and I had a blast playing in the mud, sliding, and even wrestling in it – it was messy in the best way! There are also live music performances, fireworks, and lots of food stalls to enjoy. A small tip: wear swimwear or old clothes because you'll get completely covered in mud, and don’t forget to bring a towel and a change of clothes. Make sure to book your accommodation early, as the area gets packed with visitors. If you love lively festivals and don’t mind getting dirty, this is definitely a must-try experience!
