Hey everyone!

If you’re currently in Seoul or planning to visit soon, here’s a really cool cultural experience you shouldn’t miss! Starting June 12 until July 11, the Seoul Metropolitan Government is offering traditional Korean alcohol brewery tours and tasting classes—especially for foreigners! 🙌

Through this program, you'll get to visit local breweries like Samhae Sojuga and Eoritgwangdae Brewery, where you can learn the history of Korean traditional drinks like takju (unrefined rice wine), soju, and yakju (refined rice wine)—and even try brewing them yourself! 😲

📅 Tours run every Thursday and Friday
💵 Fee: 50,000 KRW per person
🍶 Taste over 10 kinds of traditional drinks and make your own makgeolli!

There’s also a special tasting class happening at the Traditional Liquor Gallery in Bukchon (Jongno-gu) on June 11 and 25, where you can sample drinks, brew your own makgeolli, and even buy Korean alcohol on the spot.

💵 Fee: 25,000 KRW per person

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Only 10 people per session, so make sure to book in advance through the official website!

This is an awesome way to dive into Korean culture—through its drinks and stories. Don’t miss out if you want to experience something truly local and hands-on!
