It’s been raining a lot lately in Seoul, and the weather’s getting colder. Every time the rain falls, I can’t help but wonder if anyone can stop it, take away the worries and loneliness.

Recently, I came across a new song, Stop the Rain, written by Tablo and RM. Listening to it, I felt this mix of warmth and pain. RM’s lyrics are heavy yet filled with hope: “When I was a kid, I was convinced that I was destined for the 27 Club. At 29, I’m sinking in a bathtub.” These words reminded me of my own struggles and anxieties, as if we all have a place in our hearts drowned by a downpour.

But just like the song says, even if the rain doesn’t stop, we grow through the experience, learning how to coexist peacefully with our own feelings.

This song is really special. It’s not just a song about rain; it’s about growing, facing pain, and letting go of the past. The rain may not stop, but we can choose how to face it.

Have you listened to this song lately? Do you find yourself thinking of past memories when it rains?
