This is really scary. Even a major company like SKT can be hacked, which shows how serious cybersecurity issues are nowadays. I heard over 20 million users were affected—I’m an SKT customer myself, and I’m really worried that my personal information might have been leaked. SKT said they’ll replace USIM cards for free and have launched a protection service, but honestly, these feel like after-the-fact remedies. The real issue is that their original security measures were too weak. I hope the government steps in to investigate and prevent this kind of incident from happening again. SKT also needs to seriously improve its security, not just rely on compensation to calm people down. Everyone should keep an eye on their accounts for any unusual activity—stay safe!
Were you affected too? Have you replaced your card yet?
