If you love cherry blossoms, I highly recommend visiting Gyeongju in spring! I had the chance to go there in early April, right when the flowers were in full bloom, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking.

One of my favorite spots was Bomun Lake. The walking path around the lake is lined with cherry blossom trees, and when the wind blows, the petals gently fall like snow—such a romantic sight! If you go early in the morning or during sunset, you can capture stunning reflections of the cherry blossoms on the water.

I also visited Daereungwon Park, where ancient tombs are surrounded by a sea of cherry blossoms. The atmosphere here is so peaceful, with a perfect blend of history and nature. Bulguksa Temple is another must-visit location. Seeing the beautiful cherry blossoms against the backdrop of the ancient temple architecture was truly mesmerizing.

From Seoul, I took the KTX train to Gyeongju, which took about 2.5 hours—quick and convenient. If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, you can take an intercity bus, but the journey takes around 4 hours.

If you ever get the chance, you should definitely visit Gyeongju during cherry blossom season! You won’t regret it! 🌸
