The atmosphere of Tet among the Vietnamese community in South Korea is always warm and meaningful. Before Tet, groups often organize events to make bánh chưng and bánh tét, and prepare Tet feasts with signature dishes such as spring rolls and Vietnamese pork sausage. As Tet approaches, Vietnamese people in South Korea gather to exchange good wishes, give lucky money, and share the joy of the new year. Some associations also host cultural programs featuring traditional music, lion dances, and folk games, bringing the festive spirit of Tet from home to abroad. Although far from their homeland, the strong bonds and sense of community help them experience an authentic Vietnamese Tet in a foreign land.
