I’m currently an exchange student in Korea and I had a quick question (and also wanted to share my experience).

I came to Korea partly because I really like Korean bands, and before arriving I found out about a music festival. Since I don’t have my ARC or a Korean bank account yet, I had to use the international version of the ticketing site.

The thing is… the service fee was 8,000 KRW, and I heard the Korean version is only around 2,000 KRW. Is this normal? Or is there any way to avoid the higher international fees?

Even though it was a bit expensive, I still really enjoyed the festival. There were different areas like a standing zone and a grass picnic area, and I was honestly surprised by how well-prepared people were for picnicking here—like full setups with chairs and everything. I just brought a mat and felt kind of underprepared haha.

Anyway, just wanted to ask about the ticket fees and also share my experience.
