I went to the Awesome Festival last weekend, and honestly I’m still riding that post-festival high.

The weather was actually perfect — not too hot, slight breeze, which made staying outside all day way easier than I expected. The venue itself was pretty well organized too, so moving between stages didn’t feel chaotic like some other festivals I’ve been to.

Lineup-wise, there was a really nice mix. Some indie bands, a few bigger names, and even some artists I’d never heard of before but ended up adding to my playlist after. That’s honestly one of my favorite parts about festivals like this — discovering new music without even trying.

Food was surprisingly good as well. Usually festival food is overpriced and kind of meh, but here there were a lot of options (Korean street food, snacks, drinks), and it didn’t feel like a total rip-off.

One thing I really liked was the overall vibe. People were just chilling on mats, singing along, some even dancing near the stage but nothing too overwhelming. It felt more relaxed than super crowded festivals, which I appreciated a lot.

If anyone is thinking about going next time, I’d definitely recommend it — especially if you’re into a more laid-back festival atmosphere rather than something super intense.
