Concert Survival Guide

There have been so many concerts lately, I even watched NCT Dream and Super Junior back-to-back. I’ve been flying so often it feels like I’m taking a high-speed train 😂
I’ve put together a few tips that I think are worth knowing, if any experts have more advice, please share!!
1. Accommodation:
Both concerts I attended were at KSPO Dome (Olympic Park Station), so I stayed near Jamsil—and it turned out to be pretty great.
There are quite a few bars nearby, but the hotels themselves are clean, and honestly you don’t spend much time inside anyway.
The main advantage is convenience: transportation is easy, and even late at night you can still find food. I stayed in Hongdae before and felt it was too far.
2. SIM Card:
You really can’t get around without internet. It’s best to have a local number too—it makes things like restaurant waitlists much easier.
I got mine from Chingu Mobile; right now you can apply with just a passport, and the SIM won’t get canceled after entering or leaving the country, which is awesome.
I’ve also used an eSIM before—very fast as well.
3. Transportation:
Definitely get a Climate Card. I mostly rely on the subway and rarely take taxis.
From the airport, I highly recommend the airport bus—the stairs at Seoul Station are no joke, especially when dragging luggage 😩
4. Luggage:
Travel light, seriously. After a few trips, you won’t feel like buying many souvenirs anyway.
But if you plan to buy concert merch, make sure to leave enough space in your luggage!
For those about to become hardcore fangirl/fanboy , hope this helps 😆
