The weather has been really lovely lately, and you can really feel that spring is arriving in Korea. The days are getting warmer, the skies have been clear, and it’s been such a nice time to walk around the city. After the colder months, it’s refreshing to finally feel the change in the season.

Cherry blossom season is also getting closer. The trees haven’t fully bloomed yet, but they’re expected to start opening toward the end of the month. Once they start, the whole city slowly turns pink and it becomes one of the most beautiful times of the year in Korea.

If you’re planning to see the blossoms in Seoul, there are a few spots that many people love visiting. Yeouido Hangang Park is one of the most famous places, with long streets lined with cherry blossom trees along the river. Seokchon Lake is another beautiful location, especially with the lake views and the blossoms surrounding the walking path. Namsan Park is also a great place if you want a slightly quieter atmosphere with great views of the city.

Even just walking around neighborhoods or smaller parks during this time can be really special because cherry blossom trees are everywhere. If you’re visiting Korea around the end of the month, you might arrive just in time to see them start blooming. Spring here really is a beautiful experience. 🌸
