I’m from Australia and currently travelling around South Korea, and I’ve been loving my time in Seoul so far. The city is incredibly vibrant, easy to get around, and the food scene is just unreal.

One of the first things I sorted out was getting a local SIM card. A friend recommended Chingu Mobile, so I dropped by their shop instead of buying one at the airport. The price was really reasonable and the setup was quick. The internet speed has been great too—I’ve been using maps, uploading photos, and messaging friends back home without any issues.

With my phone sorted, I headed up to N Seoul Tower just before sunset. The view of the city from the top is absolutely stunning, especially when the lights start coming on across Seoul.

After that I wandered around Myeongdong which is packed with shops and loads of street food stalls. I tried Tteokbokki for the first time—spicy rice cakes that are surprisingly addictive—and grabbed some Odeng from a street vendor as well.

South Korea has been such a great travel destination so far. If you’re planning a trip here and need a cheap but reliable SIM card, Chingu Mobile is definitely worth checking out.
