I finally visited Knedló (끄네들로) Euljiro Branch, a bakery that’s been heavily recommended everywhere—and even TWICE have eaten here. As soon as the chimney bread comes out of the oven, you can smell the light wheat and caramel aroma from outside the shop, and it’s honestly irresistible.

Their dough is cold-fermented for 48 hours and baked over an open flame on the spot. The outside is extremely crispy with a satisfying crunch, and it flakes everywhere when you take a bite. I went around 3 p.m., and most of the bread was already sold out, so I had to wait. There were also tons of delivery orders, which shows how popular this place is.

For flavors, the Crunchy Chimney Bread and Cinnamon Chimney Bread are on the sweeter side—perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. If you don’t like desserts that are too sweet, I’d recommend the Salt Chimney Bread instead. They also offer a gift box when you buy three, which makes it a great souvenir. Besides the bread, their spreads are really fragrant, and they even have the newly trending Dubai chocolate spread.
