Shopping in Korea? Don’t forget to claim your tax refund! As a tourist, you can get up to 10% VAT back on eligible purchases—easy savings for more shopping! Here’s how it works 👇
🔹 1. Instant Tax Refund (In-Store)
At stores with a “Tax Free” logo, if you spend between ₩30,000 and ₩500,000 in a single transaction, you can get your tax refunded right at the checkout.
📌 Just show your passport, and the tax will be deducted on the spot—super convenient!
🔹 2. Airport Tax Refund (Traditional Method)
If the store gives you a tax refund form and receipt instead, hold on to them. You can claim your refund at the airport when you leave Korea.
