Yesterday, I put on a set of exquisite Hanbok and visited Seoul's famous Gyeongbokgung Palace. Gyeongbokgung Palace, one of Korea's five major palaces,
Along the way, I noticed that many tourists, like me, chose to wear Hanbok for a tour, not just to experience Korean traditional culture, but also as a tribute to history. The design of Hanbok is elegant and fluid, featuring a rich array of colors, with each style imbuing it with unique cultural significance. For example, women's Hanbok typically consists of bright tops and long skirts, while men's Hanbok is relatively minimalist but still exudes a classical beauty.
After entering Jingfu Palace, I first visited the Guanghua Gate, the main entrance of the palace, exuding grandeur.
Stunning. Next, I walked along the cobblestone path into the Qizheng Hall, where the Korean king handled his affairs. The architectural structure was magnificent and showcased the exquisite skills of ancient craftsmen. Additionally, I specially visited the Xiangyuan Pavilion, a small pavilion located in the center of the pond surrounded by lush green trees, offering picturesque scenery that is perfect for taking photos.
Besides appreciating the beauty of the architecture, I also participated in some interactive activities within the scenic area, such as learning how to perform traditional bowing rituals and understanding Hanbok attire. These details have allowed me to experience the charm of Korean traditional culture more deeply. The entire journey was both relaxing and enjoyable, filled with knowledge, making it an unforgettable cultural experience.
